Default Acura Integra Gauge location

I've searched and the only threads I could find were so old that the pics were all broken.

Can peope please post pics of your gauges. I've seen A piller mounts, Glove box mounts, Steering column mounts, but I'm looking for somthing different.

Has anyone mounted their gauges below the spedo cluster where the OEM cruise and dimmer switches are?

Yeah I installed in the Cruise Control slot. I can see it very well about 97% of it. I have pictures on how to do it but my school website is not working so PM me and I can e-mail the pics. It was a convinent location because the electrical source is right there anyway because of the Cruise control. I am happy because it's unique, free, easy, and in a great location for sleeper!

I think this is where I'm going to end up putting mine, it's the cleanest.. I was also thinking about in the glove box, you don't really need to watch your gauges all the time do you? Well I guess EGT would be handy to see...

If you mount it there, you'll have to enlarge the hole slightly to fit the 50mm gauges. I found it easier if you used a soldering gun (It'll mess up the tip so you'll need one dedicated just for burning plastic).

depends on what gauges, I wanted to put my gauges on the cruise spot before. I think it does look clean and stealth there. But I didn't feel it was easily visible WHILE driving. I'm not saying you can't see it, just while you are driving you have to look farther down and take your eyes off the road a bit longer. I broke down and bought the gauage bezel.

The Defi D series gauges light up in an amber color, and should match perfect.

That's nice! Those are the OEM dimmer and cruise locations right?

Has anyone ever heard of putting a gauge in the mirror? I saw a REALLY bad picture of it on this thread https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=207313 but there was no descrition..

Did you have to enlarge the holes to fit them? Like can you go and put the stock controls back in there?

I put a 52mm in and i still had to dremel quite a hole so no you can't go back to stock. But the location is awesome in my opinion.

Yea its nothing like boring a big hole in your ITR dash. Thats why i got the defi gauges - they match the ITR dash lights. Very nice.
