while im driving the engine light comes on.. but when i go park somewhere to pull the code.. it wont pull.. i replace everything.. and turn the car on to ii.. and the engine light just disappears.. i test this 3 more times and the engine light still doesnt come on.. it is only while im driving.. hwo do i pull a code like that?

you can jumper the test wires while the car is on and get the codes. Just drive and then park, but don't turn the car off and jumper the wires.

I have a small toggle switch under my dash i flip and it jumpers to get codes if i ever need to.

will that do any damage to teh car? i heard you always had to turn off the car in order to pull codes..
