Would 94-97 springs fit on 90-93's??
I was told by several Ebayer's and AOLer's that this is possible but I want a more technical answer......my friend also stated that they have same engine but completely different suspension systems. Can anyone enlighten me on this?
it depends on the springs and the company that made them. Some springs are made to work from 90-97, but some are year specific. you will have to call the company that makes the springs to find out.
what kinda springs are u getting? my h&r race came off a 97 accord...kid had em on his moms ride for 2 months and she hated it...so i picked them up for 60 bucks...ive heard the suspension is the same pretty much from 90-97

96-97 springs are the same as 90-93. The 94-95 are slightly different. They had revised suspension mounting points and the springs are shorter. Honda returned to the 4th gen design in 96'. I know this as fact because I had lengthy conversations with Neuspeed and have 94-95 springs on my 91. The rates are the same but the 94-95 springs make my car sit about 3/4 of an inch lower which is way too low, especially given the spring rates(I have sports).
So to answer your question, YES. Neuspeed lists the same part number for 90-93 AND 96-97

I agree that the 96-97 are heavier than the 90-93 and will sit slightly lower on the same springs. Check out Neuspeed's sight, or H&R or any company that sells Accord springs. They have the same part# listed for 90-93 and 96-97 then a different part for 94-95. The spring rates are all the same. The actual drop will vary.
