my ac compressor locked up yesterday on my 96 civic ex (120k). we're taking a 1200 mile (each way) road trip this thursday or friday and i need to fix this asap! i've heard there are 2 different manufacturers it could be. How do I know which compressor I have? are they swappable? like can i just buy any compressor from a 96-00 civic and it'll work?

correct me if I'm wrong. But I believe 94-98 is same and then changed in 1999.
