more h22 questions..and yes i searched
i found a h22/tranny in one of the local boneyards for $600.00 (70 k miles)
so i wanted to know a couple of things.
can i use the h22 tranny in my 90 accord?
will the accord axels fit the h22?
what do i need to convert my car over to a vtec (wiring, ect.)
anyother suggestions/info woul;d be appreciated!

the h22 is almost a direct drop-in in your car. get the motor and tranny, use your accord axles, and run the necessary wiring for vtec. does the motor come with an ecu too? cuz that's a killer deal! check out this thread you'll have everything you need to know there http://board.hondasociety.com/...61998
Use your accord axels like outkast said (manual ones ofcourse).
You should get a new intake for the H22 but I'm sure you could make the accord one work but why would you want to when you can get a larger diameter? I have a 97+ Prelude AEM (3") in my H22 accord.
Transmission mount- most will say you have to use the accord 5sp tranny mount however I tried both and found the Prelude tranny mount to work best in my case.
For the Vtec wiring there will be 4 wires you have to add. One for Vtec solenoid, Vtec pressure swith, one for knock sensor (back of the block in the middle), and one for the secondaries (a little black box under the intake manifold).
