I....third that motion I believe! IMO, my hood would not look right at all forcing those lights in.

Krazie1 and myself both have complete JDM 4dr conversions... not hack jobs.

I want to see this hack job.
It's not easy removing and welding the JDM radiator support on so I can understand WHY you would do a hack job, but I know it's not something I would want to do. Every time you pop the hood you would be reminded of the hack job when you look down at your cheesy headlight brackets and chewed up hood.

I think you have to get creative with the fenders too. I believe the profiles around the corners are different.

dude i would just buy the front clip if i were you. it would be regrettable to half-*** your car.

you can buy a JDM front clip here.

http://www.liberousa.net/f_honda.html

i have contacted them for info on a JDM front clip for my CRX. starting at $1,800 up to $2,300, you can get one (includes B16A1 w/ 60k to 90k or so miles) that includes everything from the dash forward. and that means EVERYTHING except the two front wheels and a battery. i was told that shipment would be about $400 bucks to be shipped to a shop here in the bay area. i tried to buy a front clip minus the B16, but it is not possible. i guess it doesn't hurt to have a 3rd engine lying around anyways. it could always be sold...

anyways back to the topic. i would not ghetto rig something like this. do it right i say.

sure its easy removing a core support. Spot weld drill bit, grinder and a mig welder is the main tools and probaly the only youd need to convert a whole front end swap. Cutting the hood probably would look great but you could make it look ok by welding where you cut it is double sheet metal and grinding it down and smoothing it out real well. Overall just buy the whole JDM front. Everything will fit right assuming your car doesnt have any major front end problems.
