Default Canadian CRX?

Ok, i have heard alot of conflicting things about the canadian CRXs. Like i have heard all of them have power windows, and then i heard none of them had power windows.

So what are the true features of a canadian CRX? And what about the european CRX? i know for a fact that they do come with power windows and the DOHC ZC in most of them. So where could i find one? Everyone seems obsessed with the JDM models, but i think that like most things blow out of proportion they are over-rated.

So where can i find an EDM or a CDM CRX for sale?

Oh yeah thanks guys

Canadian CRX's:

88 Si had rear "ITR" style suspension, just like USDM. 89-91 had later style.

No power locks, though MAYBE on the 91 SE (more on that later).

No HF, We got DX's though.

No door mounted seatbelts in ANY year.

90-91 Si had rear disc brakes.

Canadian D16A6 heads are rumoured to flow better than USDM ones, hence more power... but I hardly see this as significant.

There was an optional 1991 "SE" model, which was basically a done-up Si: it had a spoiler, was silver in colour, different front bumper and fog lights, with "SE" badging.

Overall, we got lighter more attractive versions of USDM CRX's. No silly door mounted seat belts to deal with.

ok so the canadians had the D16a6 not the DOHC ZC?

And what about the power-windows? I really want some power windows and non-door mounted seat belts. I hate when the seat belt doesn't retract all the way and it gets slammed intot he vinal and stabs the door panel

What i can state are facts:

- Some (but very few) had the factory oem power windows, i've seen a few Si's
- the parts dept here in Canada does NOT supply any replacment parts for them anymore, i checked!
- I have never seen any evidence about any difference in heads between CDN and USDM heads for the SI engines

-the Canadian SE version that came out in 1991 was only dressed up with a few extra oem goodies over the regular SI---It had:
Painted moldings
oem sir wing
leather wrap SIR steering wheel
middle tail light with "special edition" written under the CRX sticker
Came in Silver only
It had only 3 extra options that could be purchased for extra-
1- A/C- i have and love it!
2-Cruise - mine has this option too
3-power windows- i had to buy jdm doors to get this feature after the fact

*note- there is no difference at all in the oem bumpers between the SI and the SE!
