Default got turbo in, few questions

after dealing w/ a shady install...one of my friends fixed everything that was causing any troubles(main problem was turbo was not aligned properly)..now all I have left is the fuel pump, modify bumper(jdm front ) ,reattach blowoff valve(shady installer put it on wrong and it fell off). I took it for a test drive and it felt awesome...i was having a hard time w/ traction through the first two gears but it was still nice. with the fuel pump(one supplied w/ drag3) do u just swap it out w/ the stock one(located beneath rear seats? plug and play?) what kind of oil should i be running? im in utah(freezing weather) and i put in 20w -50 non synthetic for now..is that recommended? and what is the break-in period for the turbo? i did a couple of full throttle runs just to see the power initially..but i planned on driving 500 miles before doing that regularly...any advice would be greatly appreciated. thank you.

The fuel pump should be installed in-line, after you fuel filter. Haven't you installed your pump yet ? As for a break in period for your turbo, don't really think there is one, just make sure you take is easy 1st, before you kill it, just in case something isn't right. As for oil, i'm just using 5-30w Mobil 1.

BTW "IF" you don't have your pump installed, you really shouldn't be boosting.

Yeah definitely get that Fuel pump in there, and boosting hardcored on a fresh turbo, I'd say give it at least 500 miles, you can get on it a bit, but I mean it's just like any other virgin, gotta break it in slowly
