Please help me remove a dowel pin from the tranny
We're currently installing a new 4AGZE (1.6L supercharged) into our Corolla due to a catastrophic piston ring failure on #1 earlier this year.
We've run in to a snag...both the motor AND the tranny have a dowel pin in the same location. So I've got to remove one pin, either from the tranny or motor.
How can I do this? They're not budging, and I don't want to chew them up too bad. I was thinking of hauling the tranny down to Mufflerman and having them take it out.
Does it matter what side the dowel pin is on?
Thanks for helping a fellow ITR owner...

Thanks, I'll be changing the tranny on my R next year, and I need to know what to do if I run into this problem again.
