Default timing belt was off 5 teeh shoud i replace the whole head? or just the valves?

i have a 1993 gsr head and a b20b block i took my car to the shop and they told me that me timing belt was off like 5 teeh because i found a piece of electric wire arround the engrane bihind the crack pulley, find out after i try to star my car in morning like 2 or 3 times but it didn't star .

they correct my timing belt , and told me that drive the car for about a week without racing

also told me that i might had some damage valves and they want $500 for labor just to replace the valves , but after they correct my timing belt i drove the car back home without a problem, and told me my car maybe fine or maybe break depends on how my car drives after a week .

i want to keep racing but i am afraid that my valves will bend of mess up , if this happens should i replace the whole gsr head or just replace the valves if they bend later on?

also find out that if i replace my head with a b16a2 head in case that i need to do so my compression will drop 0.3 as my hp as well?????
is this correct?

help please to keep smoking the mustang gt and eg,s is harded to smoke a eg with a b18c1 swap in it, lol but is posible already done it .

How did the cam timing end up 5 teeth off?

Did you build this motor?

Either the valves are bent or they arent....theres no "they're going to bend later" about it.

May I recommend a simple compression test?

my timming end up 5 teeh off because a piece of wire was trap arround the engrane that is behind the crank pulley and when i try to star the car in the morning , it just got bite by the belt i guess the belt jump 5 teeh becuase of that

i didn't build this motor i pay someone to do it and recomend me b20 instead of gsr ... he was right

i personally dont think any thing happened to your car! a stay bolt went in betweenmy cam gears and ended up shattering both of them into 5 pieses. my car's timing belt ended up being totally wrong and a lot more than five teeth off. i took my head off and no damage done to the valves or pistons so i doubt your motor is even close to being fucked up!
