Default 02 auto accord w/h22a4 tranny?

sup guys my wifes accord tranny is acting weird im it is a non vtec eng and it jumps out of gear and acts wierd i was just thinking of changing it for a h22a4 auto tranny i have just laying around will this help the problem? or is it the tranny selenoids? ionno can anyone help?

If the tranny is popping out of gear then it could be any number of things. it could range from a damaged gear to a screwed up ECU. you could try switching to manual, but then you have to buy the linkages, buy the pedals, replace the ECU (not cheap unless you want to convert to OBD1 which really isn't that bad an idea) and work on it for endless hours. i would take it to the dealer or other certified shop so they can actually asess the situation properly.
