me and my friend went to atco raceway in NJ today
my setup
88 DX CRX
PG7
Y8 intake manifold/crx si injectors
Header/Exhaust/Intake
Si cam/tranny
azenis 20psi
driver seat only, no rear cargo cover or spare, on about 2 dollars worth of premium.
i dropped it at like 4k rpms, spun a little , but good enough to keep me from bogging. apparently my tachs off, and i bounced off the rev limiter into 2nd gear when i thought i could go higher, then miss shift into 3rd, passed the line around 90 mph and i was confused cause the run felt like crap
R/T = .451
60' = 2.382
1/8 - 10.268
1/4 - 15.961
mph - 87.82
My first time breaking into 15s. I feel i can get it down into mid 15s if i frickkin drive like i should
and heres the douchebag part:
on my way back from my ONLY run, i stall out.
i make it back to the lot, spend all my time figuring out why the hell my car keeps dieing out, then i realize, i changed out my seat last night, and my fuel kill switch wiring might have got messed up, check the wiring, total disaster, the wires were touching each other, so i fixed it, ran fine, but the line was long as **** so i went home.
All in all, it was a pretty good day, i might have payed 13 bucks for 1 run, but it was my first time breaking 15s. and i got to watch my friend in his $9,000 ek hatch with stock 00 civic si b16 motor/intake run a 15.8
while the 88 dx with orignal block/head with 155k and some work to it, hit a 15.9 with 2 bad shifts.
CRX POWER!!!
on a side note, NOPI NATIONALS tommorow at atco raceway, NJ, 9am - 11pm its gona be badasssss

time arent bad for a miss shift and hitt rev limit...but try and get those 60's down i can pull 2.2's on walmart tires and -2.5 degrees of camber...with those azenis you can pull 2.1's all day...practice makes perfect.
