Default Please Help with Tokico/DZ setup.

I bought some Tokico Hp's the other day and I also found some DropZone Coilovers from a friend who told me they were from his CRX. I have a 91 CRX DX and for some reason I think either the struts or the coilovers are wrong. If i installed the coilovers like they assemble here, I would be riding on the bumpstops while the coilovers are at their Highest setting. Please help me by telling me if these look right. I am most concerned about the gap on the front strut between the bumpstop and top of the spring. Thanks.

That looks about right.

You shouldn't have the bumpstop there though. If you want to lower the car that much, you don't use the bumpstop. Even when you get lowering springs that lower like 1.5 inches you have to cut the bumpstop in half.

I have some Ractive coilovers with some 86 accord from shocks..you want to see low? lol

those coil over sleeves should be longer than they are. my sleeves for my weapon Rs pretty much cover the top half of theblue part of the strut

first of all, do yourself a favor and DO NOT install these.

the sleeve on the front one is pretty non existant, i dont have a clue why they would be so short. looks like they provide no amount of adjustment. and it doesnt help that the spring length is so short.

you can cut the bump stops in half without much problem, but it looks like youd still be riding on them. so dont even think about installing these. even if you got some kind of wrong part or got some kind of spacer, dont even bother. 450lbs is way too stiff, front or back.

and you *might* want to think about resizing those pics....

Ok Thanks, that is what i thought. I need some drop springs then, because i really didnt want Coilovers anyways. So then with my tokico blue's what is reccomended since these DropZones are crap? I have searched but I would like a pic or two about different lowering springs and what the drop looks like, thanks.
