Headlights

Just got a set of used headlights but there is a good bit of sand inside the lens (actually stuck to the lens). What is the easiest way to remove the lens to clean them? (without breaking ****

)

be careful....it might take multiple rounds of baking + prying......you wanna go slow so that you dont crack or shatter the lens
