Default HELP..........H22 accord issue: strange check engine light and start problem

Well, needless to say the shop I chose put the engine in and did everything, problem is, the check engine light comes on when I'm off the throttle of almost off it, at any speed, on the highway or going 25 down a backroad. When they hook up a diagnostics machine the light does not throw a code. What is this??????
Also the car has an issue starting. It takes it a good 15-30 seconds of cranking before the engine will fire. They have been through the wiring completely at least once since the install, have checked the distributor and as far as I know all of the sensors.

other info: 92 accord, formerly auto, converted to manual, OBD 1 JDM H22

please help...

Diagnostics machine just jump the connector under the glove box and get the code by the flashing check engine light. It should show the most recnet code it threw.

There inlies the problem, the check engine light isn't flashing, and when my mechanic plugs the connector in, under the glove box, it doesn't read anything. Also when the car is restarted the engine light doesn't come on. And then there's that start thing.......

that means its a soft code you must try and check it when the light is on so that you can see it I had this problem when I had an EGR code and it would go off everytime the car was turned off

This may sound like a stupid question but are you running the correct ecu? If so, and you have a friend with a manual version h22 ecu see if you can borrow it, toss it in and see if anything changes. If not, then at least you know you don't have a faulty ecu. By the way if it is throwing a code then it won't flash just light up. It only flashes ones you put in the jumper but I'm sure you already knew that.

when my accord wouldn't start i had a problem with the injectors. You might want to get them checked out.
