Plexiglass rear windshield for 88 CRX Si?
That rear windshield on the hatch 88 CRX Si of mine feels real heavy. Anyone know if a Plexiglas replacement would 1) save much on weight 2) Affect much regarding structural rigidity/set up and 3) cost serious $$$$? i.e., is such a thing available?
Any pointers to suppliers or whatever would be gratefully welcomed.
Thanks

do a search here, it has been discussed in detail.
VIS makes a carbon fibre hatch, which is not the bulk of the weight.
a few manufacturers make the polycarbonate glass, which is a preferred choice for a semi-street use car.
i do not remember the names.
search will provide you that info.
It is definitely a thing to do on my list, lest the CF junk

Thanks for the advice. I think I shuld have suggested LEXAN, as that seems to be the known glass replacement. Where should I 'do the search'?
Thanks
