Default What Motor?

I got a question about which moror to swap in my 91 4 door. Im thinkin about gettin a dohc zc right now or I can wait a little and get a b16. Will the b16 be worth the wait? About how much power would i be getting with each at the wheels?

i myself would say go dohc zc and throw a turbo on it. (cuz thats what im doin!) but the b-series has more power (aprox. 160hp vs. 130hp) and there are more aftermarket parts for it, but it will cost you more. i'd turbo a d-series

It depends on amount of money you are willing to spend and what you plan on doing to your car. I personally would put in a ZC motor just because it is cheaper. I just bought myself a 90 STD Hatch a few weeks ago and I plan on doing that. However the B16 is faster, so it depends on your needs.

Personally, I would get a B18A. It should be cheaper than a B16, and has more torque. If you still need more power, you could turbocharge it.

Depends, zc is good. The b16 is better. If your going to turbo skip both motors and get a gsr. It will cost you the same as a turbo'd zc and will be more reliable in the long run.
