Has anybody done the DIY red tails?
i've seen redouts though in person. if done right, they do look nice.
i was going to do it. i bought the precut ones from jmods. i got them, held 'em up to the tails and changed my mind ... i like the amber (orange). it was only a few bucks for the vinyl, so no big deal. i'll sell you mine for $5 if you want.

I did mine a while back and it looks great. There were a few air bubbles but you really can't see them. I just took a blow dryer and had a friend blow hot air onto it as i put on the vinyl and then took a credit card and used it to smooth things out. Even the precut ones can be tricky so just take your time and it doesn't hurt to have 1-2 people help out.

I did mine awhile ago, when I first bought the car about a year ago. Still looks good
I'm pretty sure you can buy the vinyl from http://www.rsxmotorsports.com
