If anybody has done the do it yourself red tailights, how good did it come out and where did you buy your vinyl?

 

i've seen redouts though in person. if done right, they do look nice.

i was going to do it. i bought the precut ones from jmods. i got them, held 'em up to the tails and changed my mind ... i like the amber (orange). it was only a few bucks for the vinyl, so no big deal. i'll sell you mine for $5 if you want.

 

i've done it, very easy. just download some instructions off of clubrsx.com. mine also came with instructions, purchased @ ebay.com for $5.

I did mine a while back and it looks great. There were a few air bubbles but you really can't see them. I just took a blow dryer and had a friend blow hot air onto it as i put on the vinyl and then took a credit card and used it to smooth things out. Even the precut ones can be tricky so just take your time and it doesn't hurt to have 1-2 people help out.
