back light wiring problem on 5th gen
Move the foam pad down around the wire farther then plug it into the light.
That looks like the same harness so it should be the one...

You plug in the other side of the harness.... The side without wires.
Sheesh...... the part on the top of the grey harness is the thing you press to pull out the harness. Think of it as plugging in an extension cord but the ends are different...... the sticky outy part is on the wall and the outlet is on the extension cord.
(I am REALLY trying not to flame you for this).

Okay.... sorry. You are obviously very new to this so let me REALLY help you. If you are interested in learning this kind of stuff (how to work on your car), then the BEST thing you can do is get yourself a HELM's manual. This is the service manual that Honda Technitions use as the HOW TO bible for Honda's.
You can get a paperback version at [http://www.helminc.com/helm/se...csid=] or you can get an electronic version on ebay for $10 US. It comes on CD and will give you step by step instructions on how to do...... well everything but major body work & electrical issues. These are covered in the manual but are 1000 pg books themselves.
Everything you do will have diagrams and step by step instructions & trouble shooting procedures that anyone can follow. Best part... it is specific to your car so everything will be exact..... including how to pull apart all the different types of wire harnesses, where ALL the bolts are, what type, what clips, how to remove them..... everything.
PM me with your e-mail and I will send you some sample pages. BEST money you can spend on your car.
The Prelude forums are good if you have a specific question and you don't need an answer this second..... they are best for questions about mods and trouble shooting problems.
