rebuild engine or buy new one?

rebuild engine or buy new one?
what do u guys think is best?....i have a h22 have 180,xxx miles on it its an auto.ever time i drive it and it switch gears it like skips for a sec.i want to put in a 5 speed......also

it hads 180,xxx miles on the motor....and i have the non-vtech engine....isnt that the h22?...or is it the h23?...its a honda prelude si 1992
