The writing on the window means "race on 3", as in race on the third honk.

I don't get a lot of races, so I figured I will give people an incentive. :D

By the way, it was made out of this promotional decal that I got, that said "stickershop.ca". My brother got creative with it, although it looks a bit odd and out of proportion since we had to cut some of the letters into others.

It was more of just a joke. :D

Yep, Type-S.

It's an automatic with Sport Shift. Acura never offered manual as an option on the UA4 and UA5 TL, including Type-S.

It depends on what kind of parts you need.

If it's OEM parts you need, then I have a great guy for you to get in touch with. He's the parts manager at an Acura dealership out in NY and he's super reliable. I get all my OEM parts from him, and he has the best prices, hands down.

If it's aftermarket parts you need, then there are a lot of places. There's a few different places I buy from (and they usually have the best prices, since I'm cheap and do a lot of price comparison :D) so let me know what parts you are looking for and I'll try to point you in the right direction.

I assume you have a TL, as well? What year/model?

Looks nice. I see you have the comptech headers. How do you like them as far as performance is concerned? If I remember correctly comptech was claiming over 20 whp gain with these, just wondering what your experience has been.

Those are actually OBX SS headers. I couldn't possibly let myself spend a thousand bucks on some metal pipes. The finish may not be up to Comptech level, but it's good enough especially after I dremeled out the rough edges and whatnot, and they have been holding up very nicely so far.

I haven't dynoed my car yet, but with those headers, I knocked off a half second in the 1/4-mile at the drag strip under similar weather conditions as the previous time. 310 dollars shipped, brand new, installation cost of 0 dollars, and 5/10 off in the quarter = me one happy ****. :D

Eh, my dipshit friend Chris obviously logged me out then logged in with his own user name on here using my computer the other night. The previous post was supposed to be made with this user name, if anyone really gives a flying ****.

Not bad! They look good, I assumed they were comptech as I didn't know anyone else made headers for the TL.

Comptech, Stone Racing, OBX and Alpha Werks. They all make headers for the TL.

Speaking of headers, I just messed them up tonight. I went to eat at a restaurant with my friends earlier tonight, and as I was backing into a spot, I didn't realize the curb was so high and backed straight into it. The rear bumper and body kit piece are scraped to hell and back, and the entire exhaust system is pushed in about a foot or so and sitting crooked. I'm pretty sure I bent the downpipes because I'm hearing something from the engine bay every time I start the car.

But the bitch sounds mean as hell right now, though. Haha.

I'm gonna go put it up on the jack at my buddy's place tomorrow and check it out. I hope it's nothing major.
