Default to skunk 2 or not to skunk2

im building my head... im planning on getting a full skunk2 head... new valves.. springs ...... retainers.....

oh with ctr itr cams.

this is all going into my gsr motor.

what do you think?

is there better for around the same price?

why aren't you putting skunk cams in too? skunk's springs might be over kill for ctr or itr cams

ive heard that skunk2 valves bend easily, the stock gsr valves are good enough unless you want to go oversized, i would say just stick with the stock valves and change the valve seals once youve opened up the head.

i agree. stock honda valves are still bomb. the only advantages to getting skunk2 valves are compression because they are high compression valves and raise it a little. you should just upgrade the valve springs and retainers and then get your cams put in.
