Ok so i bought a spoon vtec controller to use for my mini that im doing to my rex.First off yes it is an odb-0 vtec controller,so it plugs right in....but i don't know which two wires on the spoon harness to splice into for vtec, could anyone help me out im kinda stuck.Much appreciation.
Sell it while you can. I had the Spoon ECU and Spoon controler and it only goes to like 6k RPM max and then down to like 1k RPM so its pretty much worthless. Just like the guy above saying all it does it move where it activates it and a little green light comes on.

For price, you could get a VAFC. You can program it to bump up the fuel when VTEC is active. That will set you back about $300.
If you go OBD-1 then you need an ECU ($125?), distributor ($75?), 4 wire O2 sensor ($80). Right there you are near $300. You will also need to get a set of underdash plugs from an OBD-1 car ($25), hack your pre-OBD plugs off, and do the conversion wiring yourself. OR, get a conversion harness ($100) and just plug and play.
So it's up to you and the prices you can find on stuff and work you may want to do.
You could also do the VAFC and then go OBD-1 later. Then you have a little tuning and VTEC control as well.
