For those people with 1st gen b16, does your motor whislte as well? because whenever I drive my Cr-x it makes a whistling sound, its getting really annoying. For those people who cant wait to flame on other people I have done a search but didnt come up with any results. Thank you in advance

Mine screams when I hold it wide open..
But seriously, At idle or all the time?
A high pitched whistle can also be associated with a
vaccum leak so check your connections/lines..

I have adjusted the screw on the TB, that was the 1st thing that came to my mind, but it still does the same thing, 88DxCrx I havent checked the connections, thanx for bringing that up Ill check that next.
My B20 whistles when I accelerate at part throttle. It only started doing this after I installed the Skunk2 intake manifold. I don't consider this to be a problem. And I even consider it to be kind of funny when people turn their heads and stare when my car does this.

If you have a intake 99.9% of the time they whistle. I have a 1990 Civic Si and my intake whistles at a certain RPM during acceleration. I also had a whistle from my intake on my 1990 CRX Si that I used to have. Completely normal if you have a intake.

Those are really good suggestions,
Ill try adjusting the screw on the TB, it whistles only when I accelerate, but when I let go of the gas the noise goes away,

I have a skunk2 manifold on my b18c1 and an injen CAI. Theres a certain throttle position i can hold it at and it'll get this funky whistle. It cracks me up.
I'd check your vacuum connections though just to be safe

Come to think of it, all of my motors did that. Only at like quarter throtle rite?
