Describe tuner.... Just a shop that sells parts? Or a full shop capable of tuning?
Knoxville has a really good shop of guys that can tune your car. 3 hour drive max from Clarksville.. What are you looking to do to your car. There is some crafty guys in Clarksville who could help you. Let me know and I'll introduce you to some of the guys who really know hondas out there.

Man I'm shat faced right now...

 

actually i need to get a couple of things fixed i have a drag gen III kit in my car and i was running pretty hard last when the car just crapped out on me. i missed 2nd gear about the same time but im unsure if it had anything to do with it. now the car will start and idle and the rpms will go down and the engine will cut off when i try the throttle it usually wont respond or if it does it will reve for a second and then die again. i also need to get my oil return line welded to the pan while they do the other work

 

Before you take your car anywhere, check to see if it's throwing codes. If it is, and you have a Helms manual or do a search on the code, this could save you a little bit of money before you take it in. Since your going to be paying a Mechanic about $60.00 an hour, you might as well cut as much costs as you can. Something to think about. Good luck.

 

that was the first thing i did. the only code i get is a faulty cat code that ive had ever since i put a straight pipe on it

 

Precision Motoring 837-3990. They don't have a dyno, but have lots of experience with all types of cars, especially honda's. They have a s/c S2k and a turbo Gsr at the shop. They also install turbo's, ect. I know the guys personally and highly reccomend them. Give them a call and ask for Chris.

If you need a dyno shop, there's a new one called "3rd Shift Performance". They are of I-24 (so is Precision Motoring-Harding Place). They have a stationary floor dyno jet that's nearly brand new. I was one of the first handful of people to run on it a few weeks ago. They should be able to help you out with tuning, although they spend a lot of time with Supra's, so I don't know how much they know about Honda's.
