There is a tapping noise coming from my engine on my 92 Prelude Si (140K).. When I rev the engine, the tapping gets faster. Sounds like my car needs some good valve adjustment done. I don't believe the timing belt was ever changed on the car either, so I will need to change that too.

I did a search on good shops in Sac, and Midnight Performance and Motorsport came up, but these changes don't seem to be extremely hard, and those shops would probably charge a lot for a non-regular customer. I'd like to do it myself, but I honestly need more experience before I even try messing with my car.

Anyone know some good shops other then the ones I listed that know their hondas and do quality work with fair prices ? Or perhaps someone who's proficient w/ Preludes and knows them like the back of their hand and can help a brutha out (willing to pay of course), so I save some bread ? Again anywhere around Sacramento area 916...
