Default Knocking noise after dc race header installation

I just installed my dc race header ver.2 with a type-s midpipe on my 03 ep. Whenever I go into reverse or go over humps I hear this banging/knocking noise coming from either the front or rear of the car. any of you guys have a clue what might be causing this?

maybe either your header or midpipe is hitting the bottom of your car?

Header is hitting the sway bar bro. You will need Motor mount inserts to stiffen the vibration and cause less rattling to fix that problem. This is what made me know the answer right away " dc race header v.2 with a type-s midpipe".
Good luck bro. hope that helped.

if its the newer version of the dcrh then it shouldnt be hitting the swaybar. You can clearly hear the hitting noise is coming from the rear. I have the same problem with the noise when going in reverse with the header and T1R bpipe. Its been talked about soo much on clubrsx.com

solution: get ES mm

It's the heat shield cover for the Cat-converter. Just remove it.

Actually the problem is the b-pipe. The DCRH is longr then the previous header so it pushs the b-pipe back a bit more. If you take a look under your car you will notice that since you are running a wider b-pipe it is not hitting against the car. Take a peek and you will see what I mean. ESMM will help a bit thou. But it is something you will have to get use to.
