Default Question about installing new chip?

I had the mugen chip in my p28 but now Ive decided to get a chip from Kenji
Question is when I install it do I reset the ECU by disconnecting the battery?
Or do I just install it and go?

thanks

nah homie, just be safe bout it. pull the ecu fuse underhood, then change the chip and put the fuse back.

everytime i switch chips, i literally remove the ecu.
