My crank pulley keyway sheared yesterday and the pulley came off the crack shaft it is not in bad shape

I am curious if this could cause any other problems

I was told that now my bearings are now shot is this a possibility

This in on an ls/vtec turbo need to know before I drive it anymore

could be heavy damage, could not be heavy damage. only way to tell is open it up...

 

this happen to my friend's poor man's type r, his pulley came off and his flywheel came loose at the track, his car is running right now, I dont know if it caused serious damage only time will tell.

 

happened to me about 20 miles from home one day... saw the battery light came on and i thought hmmm wtf? a sec later the car started shaking then bang clunk some **** hit the bottom of my car and saw it in the rear view. Pulled over, popped my hood & the accessory belts were just hanging not attached to anything!!! I called towing any it would have been over $100, so I drove it home on just the battery, no alternator or power steering. about 1/2 mi from my house the battery was so low all the gauges stopped working. Got home, Shut the car off and that battery was as good as dead. put a new pully on and has ran perfect 1 year since. I had to replace the battery about 6 months later in the winter.
