Motor Mount Question
Ok so I am changing out the B18C for the LS and I noticed on the side ofthe block the mounts are different. now teh C1 is 98 and teh LS is a 96. The bolts on the side moutn are different. the LS bolt that the driver side uper mount, Mounts to are close together. The B18 is farther apart and the moutn works there.
What can I do? I tried search but I cant find much . TIA

I have teh rear mount. I had the B18C1 in their. I am taking about the Drivers side top mount. I have that metal peice already. But the actual side block mount wont match to the holes of teh metal peice.

The pice that is above the dog kennel. that metal peice wont fit the side block mount on the LS.
That black piece will not mount to the side mount on this block

Bad pic. But you can kinda see the bolts.

Long Story. Very Long. Started 2 years ago. The car has been on jack Stands for 1 year almost now.
I bought the civic off Ebay. Went from Utah to Washington to get it. bought it and Started driving it home. on the Oregon ID border i noticed that oil was missing. SO I called the previous owner and he said that he didn't change the oil in it. and so it might be low. So I filled it up and drove back home. Now my 1k mileage warranty with ebay is out. The drive was 1k. So I drive it and drive it. Change the oil and it drank it. Figured it was that i was using synthetic. So I switched to 10 w 40 and same issue. Start Doing investigation and valve adjust change out PVC and have a Tuner check it out. As we drive it he notices that at high RPMs its smoking. SO he follow s he and notices that its smoking almost anytime on acceleration.
So I do the usual Tests. Compression Leak down and we find not so good readings. So I put it on Jack stands and start working on the body getting ready to perform a whole rebuild on it. Then I find a LS for Dirt cheap. SO I bought that instead. And am now in the process of putting all of it together.
Thanks to H-T and others. MY car has gone from **** to actually a decent car soon.
Kinda long but I get really worked up. Sensitive subject around the house.

ok back to what i said the first time, you can either take the mount off the side of the block that you used for the gsr, or you can buy a b16 block mount. there are three screws that hold the mount to the block. two are accesable from the top of the plastic tb cover. the other one needs to be accesed by taking the cover off. does that answer your question? or were you talking about the part of the mount that attaches to the chassis?

I fixed the situation. With some gheto fab and a beutiful Dremel

Now I just need to cover that hole. Maybe Duct tape?
But its fixed. and now the motor will mount
