Default Good Possible Honda Challenge car

I saw this post on scca forums, and thought I would pass it on to those of you looking for a Honda Challenge car. Looks like a pretty sweet deal.

Here is the post from SCCAforums:

1987 Civic Si ITA /ST-3
New Legal SCCA IT engine with less than 2 hours. OPM Motorsports head, OPM ceramic coated Header, OPM intake and matched highflow injectors( non-IT SCCA events). All OEM parts. T-belt, master clyinder & entire braking system, distributor, etc. all new Honda parts.

Full OPM suspension. Custom Autopower cage, Cobra race seat, new belts, window net and Sparco steering wheel. 12 wheels and tires. 4-Panasports, 4-revolutions (13x7) and 4- Alum. Honda 13" wheels with rains. Fresher Hoosiers. 225/50/13's. Two new RoadRaceGear.com Air-dams.

Fresh, Fast and Fun car. Very dependable. Would make killer Auto-X car.

Oh, you must not have gotten the December newsletter from the RicePatrol. The new rule is that Yellow = Fast only on seat belt pads, silicone vacuum hose, and stickers/graphics. Red = Fast for actual cars.

But what about yellow intakes, plug wires, valve covers and interior "accents"? They make you fast too.... but only if the yellow is "performance yellow" - anything else is unacceptable

I went out and checked under the hood of my car. I noticed that there's a tomato red Icemang cold air intake. What's that mean?

Yeah, that may be true, but that Yellow Prelude is Tom Fowler's.

Scott, who'll be happy if I can keep those tail lights in sight for one whole lap.

PS - If the car listed for sale above is the one I think it is (the "headhunter.net" car), it's a good one.

VIR this weekend in a FAST red SE-R
Faster than that P.O.S. at Summit Pt back in September. I have the timing set correctly now (was ~5, now at 15). And the power steering fluid all over the place won't be an issue anymore

Yeah, I was just jokin. I've never seen Fowler drive, but I've seen results sheets and heard the rumors. I know he would still be faster than me even if I was in a Ferrari 360 and he was in a stock Ford Festiva with three flat tires and a misfire.

Matt, owner of alleged FAST red SE-R.

We have a job this weekend. The job is to cord all my Kumho's and reduce these brand new R4's to red-hot backing plates. Oh, and to humiliate as many Honda owners as possible in the process. Can you handle it? I think so.

LOL, sounds like a fun job. I think my Kumhos might be corded in about 2 weeks. Too bad they're not on the track.
