I know there are some differences, Im not a total idiot, but my question is, I want to put the good parts from the Delsol tranny to my crx tranny....They are both D series trannies, so will this work, are there any problems I'll run into? Please help.

 

They are different. CRX is a cable tranny and Del Slo is a hydro tranny, also I am almost certain their gearing is different too.

 

Does any one have pics or a site that can help me out for sure, Im hoping they can match. I know the cable and hydro are a difference, but maybe the internals...

 

I didn't do an in depth research, I just went with the first sites I could find.

I'm going to go ahead and assume your talking about the Del Sol with the D16z6 engine and the Crx Si.

The list shows the 1987 CRX Si has having a FD of 4.4. I wonder if its usable in our D series transmissions?
