I dont know what to try next, I just put a DOHC ZC into my 89 CRX Si and have had nothing but problems, where i am now is that it starts and runs but the throttle is cracked out to the max. it has a perfect point where if you have the throttle it runs great, but.... that spot is at like 1/16th throttle so you dont accelerate very quick. anywhere else it boggs and doesnt go anywhere. its got new plugs dizzy cap and roter, the TPS sensor that it came with was busted so i stoll the one of the D16 could that be the problem? i hope not because honda doesnt sell just the sensor they want to sell the whole throttle body, the only other thing i can think of is i put the Si feul pressure regulator on it because mine came bent. i have the Si ECU and it starts and whatever but when i try and put my PG7 on it wont even start and then throws a code 9. with the PM6 ecu there are no codes :shakes fist at it: so yeah im lost anybody have any ideas?

 

What ECU is the PG6? (Not up with the lingo) I run mine with an 88 Integra ECU, no codes, runs well. What distributor did you use.

 

PG7 is the integra one and PM6 is the Si one, and i used the distributor that came with the motor.

Have you checked both the ignition and cam timing?

 

yep. it runs great at first (a little throttle hessitation but not mutch), and then as it gets up to temp it starts acting up big
