Rebuild F22/LX head... worth it? NO H22 COMMENTS..
Anyone know how much it would cost to do a rebuild with good compression ratios, new valves, springs. I want to skunk2 the accord F22... maybe get some 9:1 pistons and a turbo camshaft... will the turbo camshaft work on a N/A setup in the meantime?
Will H22A Skunk2 Valves, camshafts, springs, retainers all fit in a F22 head?
I'm guessing the Skunk2 H22A intake manifold will fit on the F22 since the stock one from a H22A will fit a F22... give me a heads up on preping the motor, 150k, looking to raise my redline too for my boosting application to like 7000/7500 for a nice sprinter/sleeper...
Can someone give me a heads up on how much it will cost to rebuild what is necessary?
Would I be better off with stock 8.8:1 compression pistons or getting new 9:1 aftermarket pistons for the motor, or 10:1 or 10.5:1 or 11:1, or 11.5:1. or 12:1...
What in the motor would be needed to build the stock motor for safe 8-12psi driving, overheating no problems.. I am somewhat of an engineer so I am trying to make sure I cover all my tracks and keep the car running as a daily driver. Looking to get about 250WHP out of the car and somewhere around 200TQ. Please tell me what my cost efficient options are, excluding EMS systems that are programmed via a laptop, I will however invest in a chipped ecu from a reputable company if you can think of one (jet is borderline...).
Thanks guys

You can get that much power out of boosting the stock motor. Just get it tuned with Hondata or AEM and it'll be fine.

A VAFC would do just fine as long as you keep it around 10 PSI or below
stick with stock internals, just get a compression test and leakdown test done to see if you actually should even consider boosting this engine.
