Once again it lives (Ben on the road for a week now, 330 miles)
This is my Dart Talldeck, 2.1L NA Beast. After a long hard road (and almost scrapping the project) its back in the ITR. Thanks to Dean @ Mr Gasket and everyone at Performance Assembly Solutions (PAS is a joint venture between Roush and Uni-Boring) who assembled the motor. After some more break-in miles its off to Payn for some tuning and dyno numbers.
Installed

another angle:

And on a side note, the SRT4 is gone and was replaced with something German and AWD

I'm excited to see your dyno results. The engine bay looks nice a perdy.
Good choice on the Audi. I've always liked those cars.
What was the deciding factor on getting rid of the Neon?

He posted a bunch of pics throughtout the whole process, do a search for his old posts.
Car is finally done, can't wait to see some numbers.
It's been slightly less than a year, right?

any sound clips?</TD></TR></TABLE>
No sound clips yet,.....................I don't day say it idles like a V8, but is you have ever heard a 4.3L chevy motor idle with a slight rumble.
It does not sound Like a 4 banger at all
The SRT was repurchased by Chrysler for technical difficulties.

Looks awesome

I actually have about a 1/2 to 1/4 inch to spare in all area judging by the clay I used during mockup.
I only reved it to 8000K last time because it was making peak power at 7200 RPM
I switched to a Extruded honed and Angle milled ITR Intake manifold that should allow the power to peak and hold longer, I will just wait and see what the dyno has to say.

Cool Matt, I'm glad you didn't give up on her..
Maybe getting rid of that neon will keep you focused on the ITR now...
I hope the Audi is non turbo...otherwise, I expect to see that bitch at the dragstrip....

When building the motor I wanted Torque over hp, I am hoping we see 220WHP and 165ish Lb ft at the wheel on Payn Techs Mustand chassis dyno.
We will see
Yes, I wanted to focus on the ITR, so getting rid of the SRT4 has helped me refocus my automotive priorities
The Audi is a 2004, A4 Quattro with the 1.8T, We have added a APR ECU reflash, a Thermal Exhuast is on the way and it looks like possibly some Audi RS4 18" wheels
This is truly the family cruiser so it won't see the drag strip anytime soon.

Matt -
Is the dart block/combo any major difference in weight? Just by the looks of things I'm guessing it's not more than 50lbs heavier - good trade off for the torque.
great project!!
