H22A N/A engine building
Sup everyone, im new to this forum and wanted to say hi n ask for your experties. After a long time of debating weather to go turbo/super/na i've decided to build my engine N/A style.. even tho it cost more i think n/a is sexy...
I have a 1999 Honda Prelude w/ the standard mods: AEM I/ DC stainless H/ E
I also have parts that are waiting to be installed:
Skunk2 Stage 2 Camshaft
Skunk2 Camgears
Skunk2 Intake/Exhaust Valve
Skunk2 Springs and Retainers
Exedy Stage2 Full face race clutch
My questions are as follows...
1) do i need to get my car tuned or can i run it w/ these parts installed untuned w/o killing my engine...?
1a) if i need it tuned.. do i need to get hondata or vafc? if so which one is sufficient enuf for my car w/o spending a crap load of money
2) lastly, do i need bigger fuel injectors with these mods?
thanks alot

You may not absolutely need to get it tuned, but it is definetly a good idea and highly recommended. It will optimize your gains, with those mods.

A hondata will give you much better gains for only alittle bit more money spent. I just got an awesome deal on a complete hondata set-up, however i can't make the price public., IM me for details.
However a VAFC will be sufficient to tune with. You may also want to consider an Adjustable fuel pressure regulator.

Your stock injectors should be sufficent, your not really adding anything that will require more fuel.
good luck
