88-91 suspention work on a 92-95?
Ok so I crashed my hatch last week
So I'm looking into getting a new hatch
. Im looking at either another 4th gen or maybe a 5th gen. Would my suspention from my 89 work on a 92-95? Thanks guys.

The springs/coilovers will as well as the rear struts. But the front struts from an 88-91 civic/crx will not work on a 5th gen. The forks in the front are different on the 92-95 civics than on the 88-91 civic/crx. Also the spring rates are not going to be correct since the suspensions are for different models. Just something to think about
so everyone says 92+ civic suspension is longer compared to 88-91. so why dont 92+ civic owners who want to slam their cars just use 88-91 shocks + forks to get a lower ride with longer shock travel.... just thinking outloud.

I have always thought the same thing. Its kinda like 4th gen owners using those old accord front shocks...
