Best ECU for ZC
yeh teh teg will mke it run rich the zc ecu is best for emision purposes
marked how did everything go with the problem i fixed my idle and found a door panel for my driverside and got some dsm injecters for future project just wanted to check up on the news

The problem with the Teg ECU is that is makes the ZC run rich, and fry distributors. Notice how all the ZC people with distributor problems are running 89 Integra ECU's....... coincidence? I think not.......
Well that's not entirely true. The ecu works great with this engine and my brother never had a problem with it being too rich. But then again he did have a FPR, and it was dynoed also.
Remember, don't just think that slaping a mod on will work in harmony with whatever else you have on the car.
The key to making power is tuning!!

The adjustable FPR will help make the teg ecu work better with the zc. The teg ecu without fuel adjustment runs hella rich with the zc. So it might be to your benefit to get a teg ecu and an fpr because the zc ecu can be tough to find sometimes.
You have to get it dynoed. It all depends on what other mods you have. Also not every engine will run the same at a certain psi. You can also get a a/f meter and try and do it yourself, but getting it dynoed is going to be the best way to make the car run smooth.
yea im interested in it. I cant find any 89 intrgras in junk yards here. email me at hellspawnonline@hotmail.com
Hey If you're looking for a 88-89 integ ecu (PG7), I have one. Just let me know.
What's different between the 87 teg and the 88-89 teg ECUs?
The reason I'm asking is because I'm about to buy a used Zdyne unit for a 1st gen CRX Si/87 RS teg (Drag II) hybrid, and I was wondering about the injector type (saturated vs. peak-n-hold) and any possible distributor incompatibilities. TIA
P.S. the Zdyne is actually supposed to be for a 88-91 Si.

nono, my personal experiences prove otherwise. i have a Zdyne ZC conversion ecu and that damn thing straight ***** my zc up, the distributor goes haywire, the rpms will jump constantly and i've replaced my ignitor three times already while using that ecu. went to the junkyard picked up an 89 integra ecu, plugged it in, and my zc SMILED lemme tell ya. NO MORE problems whatsoever. runs strong from idle to 7500. so either the zc program sucks ***, or zdyne does...and personally i think it's the latter...
