The different H22 manifolds are chassis specific.
The Series one is suited for prelude/accord chassis but will work on civic/integra as well....
The S1 is true Equal Length and sports full 3" dp with no cutting of Crossmember and retains the front mount.
The Type one follows our B series design and Will only work on civic/integra chassis.

There must be more differences than that?</TD></TR></TABLE>
Because the Type 1 is what we started with, the series one is something else to offer and expand our product line. It was built to suit the prelude Chassis, although it will still work on the civic chassis no problem. There's no reason to justify not offering a product just because there is something else that will work as well.
Two is better than one?

Let me rephrase.
Are there any advantages/disadvantages between the two manifolds (for a h22/civic not using the front mount), or would you just choose solely based on looks?

Well, the S1 manifold is true equal lenght, the T1 is a little off from being "true".
The S1 has a lower Drain to mainly accomadate the Crossmember. It places the turbo lower So the Drain is going to be much shorter and more attention need be with it to make sure its done properly.
The T1 takes up more room that the civic/integra chassis has.
Overall I would stick with the S1 for prelude and T1 for civic because of the advantages they offer suited for their repesctive chassis'
