Default Need Help! Head swap options for D15

With all the talk out there of B16 & H22 swaps, this is likely to get lost in the chaos, but... (and try not to laugh)
I'm still considering several options, but since my mostly-stock '91 CRX (DX) will need to remain a reliable daily driver, I'm looking to go cheap 'n' easy. Nothing radical, just looking to add a few ponies to the stock 92hp non-VTech 4-banger. Are there any viable head-swap options out there that would provide a bid of extra juice while retaining the stock D15B2 bottom end? Would be interested in hearing from anyone who's gone this route.
Thanks!

I think you can use the d16y or d16z heads.

You will have to convert your dx to mpfi though, and have to either use an adapter harness and put a sohc vtech(92-95)ecu in, or rig up an RPM switch to activate vtec, and then you will want to try and fix your fuel curve.

This topic has come up in the CRX/EF Civic forum, ask around in there.

do the MPFI swap first, this is a easy 10-12 upgrade. Then add I/H/E.

You'll now have 120+ crank hp and can get 135 crank HP with other minor bolt-ons.

118 to the wheels, 135 at the crank
