Prelude Suspension - Upper Arm
I took my Prelude in for inspection and it was declined because I need a new right upper ball joint and a right upper control arm bushing. They wanted to charge me almost $200 for the work. I have been looking around and I see that I can buy the parts for around $25-40. They do not appear to difficult to install.
I have two questions. I would appreciate any input that may be provided.
1) Should I replace both sides?
2) I have looked at some schematics and it appears that the bushing that they are referring to is included in the kit for the ball joint replacement. Is this correct, or are there additional bushings that I should purchase associated with the upper arm?

replacing the upper control arm is very easy but i never changed the ball joint. if the rubber boot on the new upper control arm is not broken...dont bother replacing it..same thing on the arm on the other side of the car..if its not cracked and the boot is in good shape dont replace.
