some ****** broke into my car last night, it isnt even too flashy, most people call it a pos. they wanted to steal my sound system and radar detector.. they broke out my back glass... i drive a hatch, so the back glass will probly be pretty expensive, my dad came outside for work, and they ran off or something, but still my window was broken.. MY FREAKING ALARM DIDNT GO OFF!!! if it wouldve mydad couldve been out there sooner and caught the little bitches. then after they saw my dad was gone, they came back and tried to take the glass out, it all stuck together because of my tint. and then FINALLY the alarm goes off so they leave it alone... i know this probly isnt the best place to post this, but I figure its probably happened to a few of you guys before, if not your whole car stolen, but this is Texas... all people want down here are freaking trucks and cowboy hats, so i just figure maybe you know how to go about somethign like this... oh and I am sure that you can find a rear glass for a decent price from someone here because I am sure that you cannot afford the 1300 bux the glass company is going to charge you (that is if you have a heated rear window)

 

buy a better alarm. go to the junk yard to buy a new back glass. i've never priced them but they can't be that much. or you can do it getto style and use a trash bag and some duck tape.

My alarm was supposed to be really good.. it cost 300 bucks.. i have it set so it goes off if you barely tap it.. but for some reason I guess it doesnt count for the windows... Im gonna have to talk to the shop that installed it and see what the hell is wrong and why it didnt go off. I guess Ill get a Clifford.. does anybody know hopw expensive they are? and one shop told me they had a yearly fee.... is this true? if so, how much is it?

call up GlassPro......I guarantee that they quote you $1300 for the heated rear hatch

 

damn bro.. that really does suck... as far as clifford alarms having a fee' have not heard of that.. best bet on that window is to call around to the junk yards and such'
