Default dammit jus bought the car and....

i jus bought a 00 lude. the clutch all the sudden seems like its wearing out. it like barely dis engages about 3/4 of the way out. how much am i lookin to hafta spend on a new 1 plus installation?

What do you mean? If it is slipping that is one thing, but if you are talking about travel, that is just how they are. If you are used to driving a VW, it will seem far.

Sponsor forum will get you prices, and install should be anywhere between 3-600 depending on where and how well the guys like you.

ya it dusnt slip but i dnt need to b worried bout how much travel there is?

no, you dont need to worry about the distance of travel unless your clutch doesnt disengage at which time it would most likely need to be bled.
If your really worried about it I will trade you strait across for my 2000 eclipse it has a lot less travel them my lude did.

well if the pedal is being pushed out all the way back then then the clutch master or slave could be wearing out. Just a thought.

I think you need to be more worried why you are not able to type proper English.

Keith, I told you. You should've never gotten rid of your Lude.

As for your clutch issue, beel the hydraulic system. That should fix the problem. However, before you do that, check to see if the clutch master or slave cylinder is leaking.

Did you check the clutch fluid reservoir to see if the fluid is low?
