I just got done doing the swap in my 99" coupe. To make you life alot easier get a manual tranny out of a 98-02 accord. The mount for the tranny, hydrolic lines, clutch master and slave cyl's are all different from other years. You can us a tranny out of an older model but will have to weld in a braket for the tranny on the pass. side. You MUST use the same year clutch pedal and master cyl., ie- 97 master cyl and pedal assy or 98 and up master cyl and pedal ASSY. Shift cables must be 98" and up. Shift lever can be from either 5th or 6th gen.
