Default front brake conversion

Just wondering, can you swap any 4th gen Prelude front knuckle assembly onto a '92 Accord? Want to get rid of the hub over rotor setup, and just wanted to know if you could swap in any of the 92-95 Ludes front knuckle assembly? Or does it have to be a specific year?
Also, when doing the rear conversion from drum to disc (swapped from a '92 EX to a '92 DX) , do I need to change the master cylinder?

This is actually a setup several of us have been discussing but nobody that i know of has actually done. I am planning on pulling my car up next to friends 93 prelude to see if it would work this wendsday or friday.

Let me know how it goes. I would really appreciate knowing if it works or not, the stock setup for the front disc of the Accord is rediculous. What the hell were they thinking?

Well I'm sure one thing they weren't thinking is that some Accord owners would be R&Ring rotors every few months like some of us do!
It is a silly design, but when changing rotors every ~90K miles or so like most "normal" people do, it's not so tedious.

Anyways, guys, no reason to make someone feel bad for having a AEM Big Brake kit.

Can your stock brakes lock up your tires?
does Spoon make a nissin kit for the accord? and what about a brembo large brake system?

Strong enough brakes to lock the tires is one thing, but the puny stock brakes overheat and fade quick. We'll they're fine for the street, but they just barely cut it for the track...
So if you don't do road racing (closed circuit not public roads!) you don't need a brake upgrade... unless you like the "looks."

i just put my Carbotech Panther + and panthers on last night for the track this weekend. I run them on stock rotors and they are 100 times more braking power than you need on the street. I have to adjust my follow distance and braking habits when i drive so no one runs into my *** because my braking distance is cut down by 1/2 to 3/4 of what it was.
