I got sideswiped a while back in the R. The car hit my passenger side rear wheel and made a big long dent and scratch all the way to the door. I noticed that after I got hit, my exhaust sounded a little different. I could have just been imagining things, but it did seem a little bit louder thatn usual and a little bit more raspy. What could be causing this? I checked out the muffler and piping. Everything seems to be ok. And the exhaust didn't get hit directly by anything, so what could this be? Thanks.

 

Check the piping in the area where it "snakes" through the rear suspension. Also check all flanges on the exhaust.
