If the thief is a retarded monkey, it will work great.

Bingo! Don't forget manual kill switches to the fuel pump and anything else you feel should need one.

It works when LAYERED with other security....it slows them down...time is a huge factor...any car can be stolen with a flatbed...that's not to say an alarm or a kill switch is not effective...

why dont you put it on and pretend your a thief, and you will see how easily they are to bypass..

its only good as a layer to hopefully your many other layers of security.

I've seen bolt cutter cut through those things like butter, they even have websites that sell club busters, and autolock busters. So just get a good alarm, and pray before you go to sleep.

After reading those eight reasons, I started breaking out in cold sweats...

See that!? You can have your very own (fill in car name here) for only $90.00.

LOCKSMITHS
TOW TRUCK OPERATORS
AUTOMOBILE REPOSSESSION PROFESSIONALS
FIREMEN & PUBLIC SAFETY SERVICES ....

Fortunately, if you click on the order tab, it asks some specific questions about verifying your identity and business license, etc.

So hopefully, some of these haven't snuck into the general public. I'm sure there is some home made stuff out there though.

as we've been saying for so many times,

it's all about the layers. auto-lock and alarm only? naw... that's 2 layers. boomerang, lo-jack early warning, or DEI GPS? another layer. the more layers the more deterrents.

I'd get another autolock. one for the brake pedal, one for the clutch slow them down a little more :B

For autos, it will certainly take longer for thieves to jack you car. Almost Nothing is ever 100%.

yes but thats 2 min.more than if they did not have to deal with it.

hopefully that 2 extra minutes they took was enough time, that you noticed, a cop rolled by saw them..

figure, 1min, to break in a car and steal it, with out any antu theft,
2min.for 2autolock, maybe 1 min to disarm a alarm, another 1 min to brake the club. after a while, all those security system you installed, adds up in slowing them down, even if it only slowed them down by seconds, thats still seconds that can count.

Gone in 60 seconds?

Hahaha, I like that "It pays for itself in one use" comment from the club buster. We are obviously not the target audience for that advertisement.

i know an autolock can be bypassed, it happened to somebody i know. The thieve(s) ended up bending the autolock (don't know how they did it). Like everybody else has said, it is one of the few things you should have to protect your car.

To answer your question much simpler than everyone else, no, it does not work.

I agree.

As said before, it must be used in conjuction w/ other theft deterrents.
