Default clutch question?

somebody told me that my clutch is almost gone since " the clutch has no play"

the man told me that becuase u have to lift the clutch really high, almost all the way up, before the car starts moving forward.

my car started reving up a lot and not moving. it wouldnt go over 4 mph while i was at 4000rpm.

one more thing.. after my car stoped moving i left it on the road... i came back to it about 2 hours later and i was able to drive it home and the problem wasnt as bad but the problem was still defitney there.

one more thing... a new cluth master cylinder and cluth slave cylinder was put in about 1 month ago. could i still need a new clutch?

it could just be the play in the pedal cable or hydrolics check that first , it doesn't sound like it is sliping but it sounds more to me is that it isn't catching to a high spot.
