IT'S ALIVE!
Its finally done...after 6 days of rebuilding and insatlling, the bad boy runs!
It started right up..cranked over about 3 times and fired right up.
Everything seems good, the oil pressure when I first fired it up was only around 40 PSI which concerned me, but then shot up to 80 PSI after about 1 minute.
I kept the engine around 2500 for 15 or so minutes and then went for a drive.
Oil pressure at idle is 20 PSI and at 3000 RPMs its a tad below 70 PSI (~68-69).
Now for the fun 1000 mile break in! Man it sucks...but gotta do it.

Go for a road trip on back roads man. If you picked a location 500 miles or so away you could drive there one day, spend the night at some cheep hotel, then drive back the next.
Im going to go crazy not being able to feel all the new power when I rebuild my motor somday!

Congratulations! Don't worry about the break-in, it'll be over before you know it.
Also, I don't think a little funny behavior from the car is abnormal during break-in. You know, a little oil consumption, etc., etc. Can't wait to get some numbers on it tho!

Hey thanks everyone!
To answer a couple questions, the car feels good so far. I can only rev it to around 3000 RPMs for the first 200 miles so I cant really get much feel for it...Im going to try and do the break-in in about a 2 week period.
As for the parts, I got:
84.5mm Endyn 11.4:1 pistons
Eagle rods
GSR crank girdle
All new gaskets and bearings
New oil pump

My revlimit is 8500, but since my power peaks at 7400 (at least thats where it used to peak) there no goo dreason to take it past 7900-8000.
Im running a stock program LS ECU with a higher redline.
I didnt take any pictures of the actual rebuild, just some of parts and the block at my work. Didnt have a digital camera at home.
