Default Reccomendations for a custom 2.25" exhaust????

Im thinking of making a custom 2.25" exhaust with mandrel bends. I was gunna use a round 4" muffler from Magnaflow as a resonator and an oval straight thru muffler from them as the main muffler. Will this silence it enough to keep the cops off me?

I guess you are losing the cat then? Still might be a little loud.

I'm using a stock cat (have $10 test pipe from auto zone) with 2.25" piping. I'm using a Dynomax #17741 round muffler. I had pics, but deleted them.

Just make sure you use a resonator in it, or else it will be loud as crap. Trust me, i know from experience

I plan on either keeping the stock cat or getting a high flow replacement. I will be running a 4" diameter resonator then to a oval muffler. I hope it isnt "ricey" or God awful loud...

Piece it together.........
$3.99 header adapter
$3.99 extension
2 pipe clamps

I used sealant to rid of any possible leaks. This $10 test pipe dropped .35 seconds of my ETs over a gutted cat when using nitrous. I went from 14.00 with minor gutting to 13.65 with full interior.

Yeah, really man, just spend like 40 bucks on a real test pipe. That contraption you have there probably looses HP. Ghetto racing, YEAH
